What is Microblading?
How Microblading works
Hair-like strokes create the appearance of brow hairs through sparse, light or uneven areas.
The aim is natural-looking detail rather than a heavily filled brow.

Aftercare
Brow SPMU aftercare
Treat Microblading and Combination Brows as healing skin. Your written appointment instructions take priority because pigments and aftercare products differ.
Clean hands, exact products+
Wash and dry your hands before touching the area. Clean, blot or apply balm only as demonstrated, using only the supplied or specifically recommended product.
Keep the area clear+
Keep makeup, cleansers, retinoids, exfoliating acids, peels and other active products away until the studio confirms the surface has healed.
Do not pick or soak+
Do not scratch, rub, pick or peel flakes or crusts. Avoid soaking, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, direct sun and heavy sweating until healed.
Patch test and top-up+
Complete the free patch test where required. A clear test cannot rule out every later reaction. Wait until the skin is fully healed and use the top-up timing confirmed by the studio.
Once fully healed+
Use suitable sun protection and avoid aggressive exfoliation over the pigment. Tell future laser, peel or injectable practitioners about the cosmetic tattoo.
Get medical advice+
Contact the studio and seek medical advice for increasing redness, swelling, heat or pain, severe burning or throbbing, or yellow or green unpleasant-smelling discharge. Use NHS 111 if urgent and a GP is unavailable.
