Natural lashes, reactions and maintenance

  • 01

    Natural lashes

The selected length and fullness must be suitable for the natural lashes supporting the set.

  • 02

    Previous reactions

Tell the studio about adhesive reactions, current irritation or recent eye procedures before booking.

  • 03

    Infill or new set

Standard infill pricing applies within 3 weeks when more than half of the set remains.

  • 04

    Removal

Arrange professional removal rather than pulling or picking at extensions.

Aftercare

Lash-extension aftercare

Adhesives and bonders have different water and steam rules. Follow the exact timing supplied for the system used at your appointment.

Follow the adhesive protocol

Use the technician’s initial water, steam, heat, sauna and swimming instructions. Do not substitute a universal online time limit for the product-specific guidance.

Clean and brush gently

Clean regularly with an extension-compatible cleanser, rinse gently, pat dry and brush with a clean spoolie once dry. Do not rub, pull or pick the extensions.

Check eye products

Keep rich creams and oils away from the adhesive bonds. Avoid oil-based products, waterproof mascara and lash curlers when the adhesive maker or technician advises against them.

Removal and maintenance

Never pull extensions off. Arrange professional removal if they are uncomfortable or no longer wanted, and rebook according to natural shedding and the technician’s assessment.

Patch-test changes

Tell the studio about previous reactions and changes in health or products. Complete any advance sensitivity test required by the adhesive supplier or insurer; a clear test cannot guarantee no later reaction.

Eye warning signs

Get prompt advice for persistent itching, swelling, redness or soreness. Seek urgent help for a hot or very swollen eyelid, eye pain, a very red eye, light sensitivity, trouble opening the eye or any vision change.

If your question is not here, send it before booking.Ask a question
How long do they last?

Ask how the chosen set is maintained and when an infill or new set is needed.

When is the infill price valid?

For standard lash treatments, infills are valid within 3 weeks and over 50% of the set must remain.

Which set should I choose?

Tell the studio how subtle or full you want the result and ask which listed set matches it.

Can I wear mascara?

Ask the studio which products are suitable for the set you receive.
